Lighting Design
I’m an experienced Lighting designer, having worked in the industry for 15 years.
I love designing lighting, its an artform that combines a knowledge of music, art, physics and computing. I try to ensure my design always complement what they are lighting, not overbear them. Lighting should add mood, color, movement and style to a performer, set or room, and I always aim to make each design perfect and unique for every job.
I design, program and operate lighting for:
- Concerts
- Fashion Shows
- Corporate Events
- Product Launches
- Television Shows
I can provide pre-visualization renderings of truss and stage designs including fly-throughs and lighting renders from GrandMA 3D or WYSIWYG.
I am an experienced programmer and console operator, using (in order of preference) GrandMA, WholeHog 3 and Avolite consoles. I have also used a wide range of consoles from Martin, Vari*lite, Strand and Jands.
I have industry training from Martin Lights, Vari*lite, Strand, MA Lighting and Tomcat.
